I'm a senior software engineer focused on applied AI engineering — LLM/RAG pipelines, agent orchestration (LangChain, LangGraph), and voice agents wired into real applications. A recent project is the LLM/RAG pipeline for RCA Archive Research, a LangGraph agent that grounds answers in digitized source documents. Outside of tech, I run marathons (18 total, including all six majors), play piano, and enjoy hands-on projects — plus I do heritage research connected to Amoy (Xiamen) and RCA history.
Portfolio
An LLM/RAG pipeline for archival research (RCA Archive) and a voice-agent workflow for employment verification (VVOE) — end-to-end AI systems wired to real applications.
Heritage
Amoy (Xiamen) · Kulangsu · RCA-related notes, sources, and ongoing archival work.
Hobbies
Running, music, hands-on projects, and SeaWee moments (plus a medals gallery).
Looking ahead
Two lanes matter, and both are big: shipping new AI products, and helping companies modernize the applications they already run on. The second is less discussed and just as consequential — cloud migration and AI pipelines, woven in together, so existing software keeps pace with what's possible.
Focus areas
Applied AI + software systems
I'm most interested in AI when it's wired into real products: LLM/RAG pipelines with source-grounded answers, agent orchestration that's observable, and systems that stay reliable under real usage.
- LLM/RAG pipelines (LangGraph agents, retrieval, source-grounded answers)
- Voice agent workflows (webhooks, recap/extraction)
- Engineering habits: correctness, logs, retries, edge cases
